Samantha Miller is a twenty-one-year-old grandma-sweater-wearing-book-collecting-coffee-drinking wordsmith.

Samantha lives with a curious heart, believing that there is always more beauty around you to uncover.

She thrives on visiting new cities, tasting new foods, appreciating new art, and hearing new music. If you bring her into an old library, be prepared to wait an unreasonable amount of time for her to be ready to stop snooping around. She will never say no to an invite to see live music, and she is known by her friends for her strange commitment to hunting down concert tickets. The best show Samantha has ever been to was Noah Kahan in Chula Vista, California. The front of the pit, the ocean breeze, the friends, the meaning in the music…listening to the live album recording of Stick Season makes her nauseous with nostalgia.

Alongside finding fuel for her writing in music and new experiences, Samantha finds purpose as a writer in seeking to be a voice of truth for the unseen. She is driven by the charge in Isaiah 1:17 which says, “learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless, plead the case of the widow.”

Samantha believes deeply in the power of storytelling and its ability to make us more compassionate and connected. When she writes, she seeks to access the power of storytelling to advocate for those who cannot advocate for themselves.
